Them: how did you get into fighting?

    VulgarATT:
I was a big fan and always wanted to do it

    Them:
    because....?

    VulgarATT
: I've always wanted to compete on a lone lvl. I did team sports but hated it. I don't like depending on other people. I don't trust them to hold up their end. Fighting is all me, it proves I'm strong, That I'm no one's bitch that I'm insecure for no reason. If you can look another man in the eye and go to war you got nothing to prove to anyone about who you are.
Its a love of pain, a love of challenge a desire to get as close to dieing without actually doing it. A way to kill without killing, its control, discipline, dominance hate, love, rage, exhaustion. Challenging one's self to challenge others. Its the purest thing I've ever known. Its infalable

To me it sounds like you sucked at team sports and have a heap of things you should probably talk to a doctor about.

I feel you on that completely. In the world we live in there are very few opportunities to do something REAL without facing incarceration...to test your limits, to endure and persevere. To punch someone in the face. To get punched in the face. It reminds you that you're alive.

Pretty sure that everyone who fights feels that way too, whether they know it or not.

That reminds me of a retarded version of: "I fight because I know this world is a cold, cold place. I've been
let down, stepped on, passed up, and fucked over. I fight because I
know that in this world, the one person you can rely on is yourself:
wives cheat, family abandons, and friends sell you out. When I'm in
that cage, it's me versus the world. True, I might get beaten, but I
won't be deceived. In the cage I find truth. It is only through truth
    that we can find ourselves."

I was pretty goo at team sports just didn't like em.

I was on a state championship soccer team for 8 years as a kid, played little league and my team won 2 of 3 years, was never allowed to play football cause it was too violent.

Almost played rugby in college but it conflicted with BJJ.

I love people, I like dealing with them but in general i just find them to be lazy and untrustworthy.

Wrestling really helped me in highschool for that very reason.

There was never any blaming anyone else, or catching crap for being the one who wanted to take the big shot. There was the "team" aspect of wrestling, but deep down we were all out there trying to end up with the best records for ourselves. Unless you completely bitched out and let yourself get pinned, nobody was ever mad that you got beaten.

I found the opposite in team sports I knew the guy either side of me was going to do their job as best they could. It might sound a bit cliche but I always felt it was like one of those feel good movies were the team really comes together in the end, well most of the rugby teams I have played in felt like that.
