Ya 1 scoop is 47% protien lol.

It's mainly micellar casein which is regarded as a slow digesting protien and the idea is to get quick digesting protien post workout. Your choice whether to join the 'don't sweat the small shit, eat, lift, sleep' elitist crew or the 'ocd about everything besides being in the gym' elitist crew.

:werd: I bought mine for a bedtime shake and it also works good for the velocity diet since the fat content is high and carbs are low.

casein gets into your blood stream as fast as whey. whey spikes your amino acid level higher but casein keeps it elevated for a longer time

how does it not matter at 18g of protein a scoop? PWO i need at lest 35, which means two scoops, which means i would run throught it in no time?

at 30$/2lbs ..when you get Iso that's 30g/scoop for 10$ cheaper...it seems to matter

You really have no clue what you're talking about man.

Most PWO studies have a much higher carb to protein ratio. Where do you get this "I must have 35g" shit from?

Further, the point of the OP's post was not the cost. It was the blend of protein and the lack of "fast digesting" protein/carbs, which is what really doesn't matter at all.

The funny thing is is skim milk and/or low/no fat chocolate milk is pretty much identical to a proper "PWO" formula if you follow that horse cock. Milk is natures big ass joke on the supplement industry.

Chocolate milk is delicious and super cheap.

i'm pretty sure i know what i am talking about, and that it's a comprehension problem on your part.

i understand that that was the OP's point, but that (the cost factor) would be mine....hence why i said "waste of money".

and, i get the "i must have 35g" from the stipulations of carb cycling - which indicate that you should 1.6g protein per lb of LBM / amount of meals in a day, at each meal. For me, thats 224/6...so just over 35.
