...as I'm walking up to the re-enlistment people (for clearing. They have to give you counceling to join reserves or to change your mind at the last minute), I see this SSG come up to me and the first thing that came out of his mouth wasn't "hey" it was "Do your parents know that you're here? How old are you? Are you old enough to be in the Army?". I am a SPC (E4) so I would have either have to come in as in E4 (through college, that means I have graduated and have lots of credits) or have been in the army for at least 2 years (I got 4 years and 4 months). I'm 22 (going on 23) and yes, I do look young, but god damn, that was fucking uncalled for. I don't mind people busting my balls once in a while, but that only goes for people that I know. I didn't know this SSG and he was giving me shit. Fuck that mother fucker. People just need to know when to STFU. On a side note though. The re-enlistment guy wasn't pressuring me to do anything. He just asked me what he had to ask, and left me alone. Pretty relaxed guy. the 16th I'm officially out of the Army.
