Was in a meeting with A captain, myself, and two other LTs. We're revamping the PT program. E-7 walks in with a E-4 - "hey, Captain I've got to take Amn Snuffy down to the Force Protection desk" E-7 walks out with grumpy looking E-4. Somebody gonna get in trouble:noes:

Not a minute later, a completely seperate incident - ANOTHER E-7 walks in with ANOTHER e-4 who's crying 'hey captain...' at that point we were dismissed.

Drama in the OC -- I mean in the squadron.

The End - hey I warned you.

    Yea... uh.

Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh - after that I sorta space out for an hour. Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too

Meetings and... updating slides for meetings, throw in some paperwork, a bunch of emails, a few phone calls, and thats a typical day. I'll also go around and talk with my folks to see the projects they're working on, see how they're progressing. One of my guys really does have a red Swingline stapler - I've got to get that back from him.

Then Lumbergh stops by and tells me about the TPS reports. I have 4 bosses. I really do. Sometimes I head over to Chotchkie's for lunch.

    Army LT's day
0600 Make up excuse to get out of platoon PT.
0900 Show up for morning formation, have excuse to not be around for any morning activities
1200 Magically reappear in time for chow
1300 Pretend that something needs to be inventoried in an area that noone else will be
1630 Not show up for end of day formation unless needing to kiss the CO's ass about something.

Continue similar cycle if working later to prep for field or deployments.

    Google my user text :p

I'm a communications officer. Currently, I'm a project manager for a software engineering element of Air Mobility Command's comm group. My specific section works on web pages, and 'rapid' projects that go from idea to implemention with a 12 month or shorter window. We also manage all the AMC web sites, and the Air Force portal (my.af.mil)

That sounds about right, but still doesn't beat my day.

If i'm not on rotation to fly, i'll go to pt, i'll push some papers in the morning. Lunch time comes and i'm on the course for the afternoon.
