$27,000 an OTer should pick it up. No joke...
Nice looking start. I'd rather find a shell in great shape with no motor/tranny, and go LS1 + T56.
i would just leave it as is and daily drive it
gauges are overrated
I think 68 might be my favorite year.
I have a set of gauges for it too, even a set with a tick-tock-tach and console gauges
You do realize that a shell and an LS1 and T56 you've already almost spent more than this entire car with a DSE/Minitub and cage.
27k is a hell of a deal.
Needs RS front end with hideaway headlights though
It's not terrible. I already have a shell, an LS1, and a T56 though
No. There's one sitting in a garage waiting for a home
And this is Texas, that shit would be getting A/C
They are really light cars, all things considered.
If I had the money and the energy to finish it, I'd get it.
No interior at all.
$27k for that? Are you fucking kidding me?
I wouldn't pay any money for something that has been modified.
I sold a rusty, non-running shell 68 base coupe for $6500.
Needs a lot of interior work, much of the pieces are missing, to re-do that correctly you're looking at another 2500 or so, Needs more brakes, and I'm sure suspension work, especially since I would track it. That car could probably be well finished for another 10K... not too bad at all really
Agreed. Finish up the car and it might be worth something.
As it is now, that car is a fucking eye sore.
37k for a badass pro-touring camaro with nice ass paint, that cars a steal. First gen camaro interior is $1000....
Run aftermarket seats of your choice.
You can't even open the window on that car.
Window cranks are $9. I got a new set last week....
Then put it on.
I think it's priced high, and is worth more like $20-22k, but it's certainly not an eyesore
It's not his car, you silly fuck.
It is a pain to look at. You might have an idea about performance but for fucks sake, either learn some basic notion of design or hire somebody else to do the job for you.
i disagree on a lot of levels. You won't buy much of a camaro for 20-22k...
this things nice and doesn't need much at all to be a real high quality car.
