a lot of the regular posters took off
It's the quality and organization that's lacking
There isn't even a mod. We need brolli and/or chechen to get become mods so that we can get some stickies as well.
I'm starting to work on something very cool that I think will be helpful to a lot of people.
The scene has been kind of quiet lately. But New Years eve is right around the corner....
I'm still around you jerk.
I think the holiday season has something to do with it too
Yeah aint shit been goin on for a few weeks.
we got AFC 14 tomarrow which will be nice.
Denis Kang is fighting, Ryan Schults should be fighting (he is having problems passing his physical today).
It will be a good show with a few up and commers on the card.
oh and i'll be a mod too if needed.
theres rarely anyone on in this forum
i said the exact same thing before this was made a forum
its a good thing it isn't a sherdog.
a lot of people don't even know about this subforum...
gotta lure people in
I thought it wasn't doing too bad for a subforum compared to some of the other white elephants.
you guys should post some training videos!
if i brought a camera into the place i train everyone would be like wtf, who do you think you are?
haha yea I guess it would be a little strange... I guess its less akward for me b/c its a uni club.
I'm still around...if that means anything
I'm going through MMA withdrawl. The Unleashed shows get old when you've already seen all the fights
Good thing the UFC is going to put out a shitload of shows in 2006, despite all the hate they get from the internet fanbase.
as much as i bitch about the UFC and as much as i may sackride PRIDE, i still will always watch UFC venues because MMA is MMA, despite all the crap going on around it. and the UFC actually has taken steps in the right direction as of late (lifting the media ban, bringing back BJ, tito, etc)
I hardly post here because it is mainly for people that like MMA. Plus, I hate what competition has done to pencak silat. I hate what it has done to many martial arts. This is going to piss a few people off, I'm sure. That's fine--purposes vary.
by definitiion, MMA is more of a breeding ground for hybrid martial arts. that doesn't mean that MMA fans don't appreciate any particular martial art in its pure form. stuff like kickboxing, BJJ and wrestling is still pretty big
It's called being desperate
I get kind of bored of MMA when there are no events, plus I haven't been able to train much due to injuries.
Injuries suck balls. sorry to hear that. What is your training background?
