This folder on my desktop wont let me delete it!

    I can't delete this folder! Here is a pic of it on my desktop, the folder has nothing in it, except another folder that is empty. On the far left (obviously)

    But when I try to delete either of the folders, I get this message

    I did control alt delete to see the running processes but i dont see anything not normal

    How do I delete this? I tried restarting my computer but it didn't fix it.

    I was gonna say restart the machine and try again, but you said it didn't work...

    Rebooting always fixes it for me.

    Something must be using it if it can't delete it.

    Why is mspaint.exe running? Was it open on your system when you took the screenshot?

    Have you tried booting to safe mode to delete it?

    sometimes i get that and i just restart to fix it. its weird that restart cant fix it cause it shoulda killed watever process was using the folder. that's very annoying tho. is there a prog that can tell us what program is using what resource (file, folder, etc)? i hate to have to restart just to delete a frickin folder

    I restarted in safe mode and it let me delete it. Thanks for the help everyone.

    It says you have 58 processes running, but only shows 10. What the duece?
