I don't need anything super fancy (like online access to it or anything like that). I just want something good that will last and hopefully not loose my data. I realize no HD is 100% but anyone have experience?

Is the price decent or should I hold out for something else?

I know it only hs usb 2.0 hookup, but that's all I have on my computer so that's fine by me. Also, it will only really be used to general back ups of things like music, word files, and pictures.

Thanks, I kind of like that pininfarina design, but I'll stick with the Porsche philosophy of form following function

I'll keep my eye out for a deal on the seagate
