Fucking christ . See this button here? It adjusts valves and things to just make it louder!

I fucking love that whine. I wish it wasn't so mute on the TDI.

understood - my point was are you comparing this to the BMW 3 series or 5 series as an example.

I haven't bothered to check the m5's pricing in the UK as a comparison, but most folks that have actually riden/driven in the closest competition here state side, feel that the M5 is superior to the Caddy V series sedan (my father inlaw being one of 'em)

high 0-60 times probably to do with traction issues or just poor driving skills.
with that much power and good wide tires, should be able to get faster times.

hell even the new mustang with only 400hp apparently can do 0-60 in 4.2 seconds. :hsugh:

Power doesn't mean much if you're heavy.

(I have no idea if this car is heavy, jus' sayin')

What does he mean at the beginning where he says, "What do you do if you're like me?" then points to the pie and a key on the hood?

it probably can't keep the trans intact with stickier/wider tires.

part of "kicking the shit" out of the competition should in theory involve some discussion about how/what it is capable of doing. launching certainly is not the be-all-end-all discussion. but if traction is such an issue at launch, it would stand to reason that it's potentially an issue in cornering as well. :dunno:

I do agree, that it's a pity that we don't get it here in the US - but honestly there's simply not much market for it with the Caddy V series filling those shoes for GM. and the M's and AMG's and RS Series Audi's filling the Euro role - all with offerings within spitting distance of that rated HP as well.
