so I've been thinking about getting a handgun to have around as a just incase type scenario. Want something I can use for some target fun, but something small enough/easy enough to use so that the gf can feel comfortable with it if needed. For something small, cheap, and easy to use, am I looking in the right direction?

two things suck about the p22

    1.) exposed hammer w/ 12lb pull
2.) can't let hammer down without a mag in
2a.) Hammer will still cycle completely with safety on

its retarded at first, but you get used to it

i got one from a forum member here actually.

Its eh.. you cant get enough rounds in it to make it fun and its kinda bland to shoot.. No recoil or anything to make it feel challanging

hell yeah! sounds like a good plan to me....is it assembled or are you going to have to finish off the last 20% of it

P22 sucks. Its very small, so if you have even medium size hands it's probably going to be difficult to shoot. They can be bitchy about ammo too. I had one and dumped it.

You mentioned "just incase", .22 isn't big enough for a self defense caliber.

Thats a plus to me, Walther never fucked over the gun owners of america, Bill Ruger deserved to have a supressed mk2 shoved up his ass.
