    for the first time :o

So I quit drinking last year and that was a huge thing for me. I thought why not tie that into my next tattoo, I go in May 11th, I want to round out my legs so it'll be going on my left calf, I have the whole back of my leg to work with.
Bear with me here:)o) so when I stopped drinking that was like the death of the 'old me' and what represents death better then a Grim Reaper, but I'd want to tie in drinking into it somehow, so would it be :greddy:to have him gripping a bottle of booze or something? Like maybe one hand a bottle and the other hand a scythe(which I'll want in it too) I know my artist can draw up a kick ass GR but not sure how to incorporate the drinking aspect in it :hs:
And I'm going to email him this shit but wanted your guys opinions.

I think the GR holding a bottle is a great idea

i think if there was some shattered bottles beneath him to that would look pretty epic.

Grassy, lush gravesite with a partial bottle sticking out of the ground. Death to an old habit. Bonus addition: dates on tombstone representing the day you quit for good.

Congratulations on being sober, man. From experience I can say that sobriety is a tough but super satisfying road to walk.

    Thanks...

I should of mentioned I will want it in B&W, I'll have to think about the date thing but I like the bottle sticking out of the ground idea as well as Mortixer's idea of the shattered bottles(my wife suggested that too)

Qutting drinking is tough...there is such a fine line between going overboard and just having a good time being social....good luck with that!

Its so weird how one person can control it and yet it can totally consume another....I have done a few things I probably shouldnt have while intoxicated....

Be thankful...not only are the DUI's costly...they can destroy a career...

The thing I'll miss most is drinking while grilling and watching football games, I might have to sample some O'Douls

Two Toys was sober for awhile and he drank O'Douls... i remember him sending me NYE pics.

I have my drinking pretty under control now. There's days when I kinda just go off but I'm usually good after one day of it.
