I'm getting a pretty good sized tax return back and am looking to get a DPMS LR-308 AR with the 24" Stainless Steel barrel. Anyone here have any experience with one of these? I've searched and there were a few threads mentioning them but nothing specific.

I will also be ordering some new Magpul .308 Mags from midwestpx shortly. Anyone have any experience with these yet? I'm sure since it's a magpul product it'll run just fine.

Since I'll be getting the AR, I'll likely be selling my Saiga AK 16" in .308 as well to fund an optic that I'll put on the AR. No reason to keep the Saiga when I never really shoot it. Has maybe 200 rnds through it. Anyone know about what the Saiga would be worth? Has the thumbhole stock with swiveling cheek-piece, 16" bbl, USA made front handguard with 3 rails on it, and 6 USA made 25 rnd mags for 922(r) compliance.

FTF would be ok, but I'll probably put it up on a few forums to see what I can get out of it.

and $150 :hsugh: Ok bro. $600 new and $250 in magazines.

The only issue with the LR20 mags that I'm hearing about is some random reports of them not working properly with the LWRC lowers. They run perfectly in all other DPMS-pattern .308 ARs.

My buddy has one. We took it out last weekend for hog hunting and it has no problem hitting a 6" target at 400 yds. You just have to calculate the drop and hold the reticule a little high.

Here it is being shot out to ~350 yds

That's yet to be determined but at most, dealer direct pricing. I'm working an angle that might get it to me for less...
