GUN thinking of buying a crossbow, yet i know nothing about them

    looking for something i can use for deer hunting.

    anyone have one? any suggestions on a decent kind/brand? any in particular that i should stay away from?

    i figure if its big enough to kill a deer from far enough i can use it on the injuns before they get mah herd.

    not just your commie state. You can only hunt with a crossbow in va if you are disabled.

    theyre legal here now for non crips, i thought it was country wide but i should have known better.

    Oh well. Hopefully things will turn for the better in the next year or so, as we now have a lame-duck Governor. :bowdown:

    Ohio has been open to Crossbows for everyone during the whole archery season for 30+ years now.

    I hunt with a Horton Summit. Great starter package.
