I'm looking to do some plinking for cheap, so .22 here I come.
I know there is a big 10/22 group on here so what's a good price for one?
I have seen them at my local wal mart, should I consider one of those? :hs:

$190 for a regular one, $240 for a stainless one. Maybe $100 at a pawn shop.

purchase the cheapest 10/22 you can find, and go from there. No reason to pay for more, you'll be changing everything anyway.

Is there a reason you want everyone that sees you with your gun to laugh at your behind your back?

    10/22 crew.

I had mine for a couple of months before I modded it...course, I didn't shoot a single round through it before I changed everything but the receiver and bolt :o

www.natchezss.com get the Hogue OM stock for whichever kind of barrel you have. Get a bull barrel, too if you don't have one. (Mine's a Green Mountain, awesome accuracy.

Sounds good, I like the way some of those laminate thumbhole stocks feel, but I'm not a fan of the way they look.

    I got my 10/22 at Dick's for $170.
