Thinking about starting beta alanine supplementation got a few questions...

    1 Can I take it with:
    Purecee and thermorexin all 3 at the same time.

    How bad is the tingling, how quick is the onset and how long until it goes away?

    What should my starting dose be? I know 1 tsp=3 grams they say 3-5 per day. I'm assuming I should take it with food. I'm thinking about just mixing it into my myoplex shake pre and post workout. Or should I just do it with the purecee 15-30 min before.

    I understand I will get increased endurance and strength any other benefits?

    Sorry for being noobish.

    tingling gets you going
    hella reps nonstop
    no burn effect during high rep movments
    take 1 full scoop in the mouth.
    head to gym 30 minutes later with a angry look on my face from the itching/tingling it gives off.
    i become a prholic.

    TC: Are there any negative side effects?
    JS: There's one, at least in conventional beta-alanine supplements. Users sometimes experience a slight flushing/tingling effect with high doses (at or greater than 1.6 grams) called paraesthesia. This is resolved by taking 4 to 8 smaller doses several times a day.


    It's hard to take some of these t-nation articles seriously because everything seems to be a plug.

    I fucking HATE the tingling.

    It's awesome that you can do infinite reps with no burning but the tingling actually ruins my workouts. It feels like your face, lips, ears etc are sunburned.


    Best way to get around it is to take 2g pre-workout and then 2g part way through. hat way you avoid most of the tingling but still get most of the benefits. A compromise I'm willing to make!

    How do you measure the dose? Do you just take it straight orally or do you mix it?

    I've got a set of digital scales, but after a while you can guess. 2g isn't a lot. Less than half a teaspoon.




    Yes! lol

    It helps to stop the horrible lactic acid burn you get when you do higher rep stuff. i.e. if you try 30 rep curls you'd normally get such a bad burning that you can't finish the set because you want to cry.

    ive been taking purple wraath and haven't felt any tingling. maybe try mixing it with more water?

    CEE, Taurine, Beta Alanine before work out. All mixed in a water bottle.

    Tingling is weird the first time, but now it doesnt phase me.
