A&P thinking about selling the sigma 10-20 for a tamon 17-50

Discussion in 'Lifestyle' started by coughlin's law, Oct 13, 2008.

  1. seems like a better deal don't it? i mean the 2.8 bokeh and the focal length would give me something to work with too... the sigma 10-20 seems so limited...

  2. i could sell my sigma 10-20 and 50mm f/1.8 together...

I think you could do a lot more with a 17-50 than 10-20.

A 50 is nice to use in low light.

I couldn't give up 10mm. so I just bought a nice wide prime instead.

What is your mount for the 10-20? I am a Nikon man soon to be looking at the Sigma 10-20 or tokina 11-16 based on prices I find

You should be looking into having all three, a 10-20, 17-50 and a 50 prime. You may not have the money, but having 10mm-50mm is very useful.
