I've never sold a gun before so I'm kind of learning as I go. I plan on selling my G19 and I want to see if anyone could give me a good starting point in terms of money.
    • Stock 3rd Generation Glock 19 with about three to four thousand rounds fired that has been taken care of meticulously
    • x200 tactical light
    • 4-15rd magazines
    • 2-10rd magazines
    • Glock hard case with spent shell casings, lock, speedloader, manual, etc...
    • Basically new Comptac MTAC holster
I was thinking of starting around $650?

    Any input?

You would probably get more if you parted out the holster and light.

If I sold it I would be looking at getting a S&W 442, not sure about trades I think I just want the cash.

I may be interested in some of the 15 round mags if you part it out that far.

That's a good price for the package. I never had any luck selling a gun/light package though, always end up selling the light solo for some reason.

I assume if I was selling this through an FFL I would just take it to a FFL holder and have them ship it to the FFL holder of the buyer's choice.

If I was selling it FTF I would just go to an FFL and have them transfer the gun to the buyer?

Is that correct or is there more to it?

You can ship a gun through UPS or Fedex to a dealer. If you tell them whats in it (and you don't have to, although company policy requires it so if you think you might need an insurance claim or something you might be worried about following their company policy, i usually don't) they'll make you use next day air. A FFL can ship priority mail.

For FTF there is no FFL required in FL, I'm relately certain in the entire state you trade money, gun, and say have a nice day just as you would with any other item.

I think that's a little low considering a used G19 goes for around $440, the holster goes for around $80, the light goes for around $100 used, the magazines cost around $60.

That's $680, I think my $650 price was about right.

I think I'm going to post it on Glocktalk and see what I get. If I end up parting it out I'll post some of the stuff on here.

I only want the gun. Don't care about all that other shit, and you've had offers for the other stuff parted out. :dunno:

Someone just offered me $500 for the gun, mags, and holster. The only reason I'm considering it is because it would be a FTF sale, no shipping involved.

    I think that's a little low. Input?

Hmm, are you still interested? And is your offer just for the gun or the gun and mags?

That's still pretty low. I'd buy that holster off of you for what you asked but it'll probably be a month or more until I could use it so I'll probably hold off.
