I was really into it at first but have started to kinda lose interest lately.

I have a Nikon D70 with the 18-200 VR with Hoya HMC CPL and a UV filter. 1g card, carrying case etc.

I dont know whats gotten into me but I just feel kinda "meh" about it.
    Should I sell it?

Pics Ive taken with it over last couple months: www.photosbypelf.com

    I need a beer

its not like they're getting more expensive...if you sell it now, you could easily get something as good if not better than you have now for less than you paid before.

with that said, would you consider selling me the 18-200? :x:

I only shoot like once a month during the offseason, if that. It's not like you have to be shooting everyday to justify having the equipment.

It's like car insurance. The moment you cancel your policy or back down the coverage, is when you need it most.

You'll regret it. I still haven't gotten to shoot that much since i bought my cam b/c I'm studying for the MCATs right now and before that I was loaded down w/ classes. The lil shooting I do do is enough to hold me over until after august 19th though :hs:

Every hobby will go into slump but the passion will come back. I say keep it. You may not go around shooting things as much as you did before but what are you going to do when an event comes up or go on a trip with friends? Wouldn't you want your D70 to take some nice photos?

Where do you live? I was looking through your pictures and found myself asking that question a lot.

I live in in Santa Clara, CA. Most of the pictures were taken around on campus except for a few in monterey and many in spain.

I sold all my gear. Once you do it you feel so relaxed. Felt like I wasn't using it enough, which is true. Spent the money on another hobby, pretty badass :wiggle:
