    Thoughts? :dunno:

$50 back and 2 extra mags if I get it by the end of the month. It's a little big, but most compacts aren't comfortable at all for me. The only one I've held that I like is the Walther PPS...which is another option I suppose.

Can't comment on the full-size, but I really like my compact. Very comfortable for extended carry sessions and a good shooter.

I think johnson had some negative experience with M&Ps. Hopefully he'll chime in with his experience.

edit: IIRC, it was about feeding hollow points.

One of the instructors I train with carries an M&P almost exclusively, he loves it. He had some issues with his first early production model that had the mag safety, but his new one without it works great.

It was just when racking back the slide manually that would cause it to stick. I would have to slingshot it to load the chamber. I only had about 240rds through it before I sold it and think that it wouldve cleared itself up over time.

They still have the $50 rebate and 2 free mags, if you hurry. April 30th is the cutoff.

I love my M&P 9mm Full sized. 1000+ rounds through it now with no problems.

I put ~350 rounds through it this weekend w/ no problems.

I've never had a problem with my M&P 9 fullsize. It feeds everything, including big hollow points like Speer Gold Dot. 1500+ rounds with not even a hiccup.
