I currently have a 2001 Honda Civic EX coupe as my daily driver with 42,000 miles on it. I need something more spacious, and useful. I am looking for something that is very reliable, in the $13,000 range, and a very comfortable interior. I don't like big open interiors, such as the CR-V's interior

    Any ideas?

I'd get a beater XJ. I had a 98 civic ex before I got my ranger and think it was a bad decision. I have been happy with the ranger at times and upset at other times--I wish I had both honestly.

Either should fit the bill, the Escape more so if you need all weather capability only.

I always liked those kinds of jeeps. Especially the one in the last pic. Are those the ones with the unibody chassis.

Well guys, I got a 2001 Chevy Blazer with 39,000 miles on it. fully loaded, towing package, everything except leather (too cold on the butt) I think I got a nice deal on it, $4500 after trade in :-D. One place tried to give me $4000 for my civic trade in when low book value is $9,500, morons (or am I the moron for getting a civic in the first place?)

Anyways, I am going to make myself a nice little cold air intake with a K&N filter, and some PVC pipe, and maybe one or two other things, but man, I love it so far
