i was looking at A4s this year, but i ended up buying an STI. Not really comparable cars other than the price tag, but i found the STI more fun to drive, though i preferred the A4s looks. Fun to drive was #1 on my priority list though.

i got an INSANE insurance quote on an STi from my insurance company... the 300hp lexus IS350 was expensive, but cheaper, and the 306hp G35 cheaper still.

A Legacy GT quote was like HALF of the STi... outta control

i had a B6 a4 before. only one problem i had with it, a coilpack which from i read is common on that year at least. i like the style inside and out but the 1.8t was way underpowered for the weight it had to move. the thing was a pig and 170hp and 166 tq just didn't cut it IMO. audi did good upping to 200hp for 05.5. but consider the japanese competition are putting no less than 270 as standard for this class - TL and G35 for example.
