    Doesn't look much wider than the 18-55 kit lens on the XTI...

    The first one was shot at 15mm and I dont think the kit lens would have gotten that much ground and sky in the same shot.

    The second is was at 17mm and Ill agree it doesnt look much different.

    If you're gonna end up getting it used, just get it from BH. The used price on there isn't much higher and you know it'll be a safer purchase.

    I hardly did any PS -- altho this was during my JPEG shooting days, so the camera might've done some processing. Anyways, here is the original...

    It's not a perfect lens by any stretch of the imagination, esp if you're pixel peeping. But it's still one of my faves.
