Thinking about getting a plasma. Need options.

I'm thinking about getting a 50" plasma, and want to spend around $4000.

    1. what model would you recommend?
    2. what theater system would you recommend?
    3. is getting a plasma still worth it even though I'm not planning to get digital cable or sat tv?

    thx:wavey:

pioneer and panasonic make good plasmas, most of their stuff around 4000 should be a good choice, demo in store if possible of course

what is your theater system budget?

plasmas are worth it if you want a slim profile and a good well put together image. when the new disc formats come out a good plasma screen should be awesome
