would be nice if they had some FPS data
looks cool, but I'd want to see some gel comparisons to other slugs first.
No flames, no care.
Looks pretty awesome, but I wouldn't be too surprised if more intensive studies showed that - like with most "specialty" ammo - it isn't nearly as effective as it claims to be.
speciality ammo always strikes me as a as seen on tv bily mays gimmikee kida thing that looks good on paper, sounds like a good idea, but is out performed by walmart grade ammo in the real world
It looks effective but I would hope if your hunting your hunting for food and it seems like it would destroy a LOT of otherwise very tasty meat.
Not all hunting is for food (or sport for that matter). The bulk of the hunting around here is wild pigs/boars and buffalo. Niether of which you'd ever want to put in your mouth lol
buffalo is good meat
It talks about "hydrodynamic and pneumatic shockwave inside the body" and means it seriously, with regard to terminal ballistics.
sounds like another eXtreme Shock! ammo, that fails hard in the real world.
Heres some perma gel test thing
and people get pissed about the 6.5 grendel gel testing
though tbh, I kinda want to buy some just to send to the box of truth
the 6.5G testing has its flaws, yes.
This is way worse. The way they have the block propped like that probably helps the "jump" on impact. And they're using a size that's more appropriate for a pistol bullet, maybe. Assuming it's even properly calibrated gelatin.
