I have a mild case of gyno and no upper chest. I've been cutting for 8 weeks or so now and the "manboob" look is going away (although the puffy nips ruin the overall appearance). I always figured that if I filled out the upper and middle portions of my chest and gave my chest a fuller look it would remove the appearance of manboobs almost completely, but I've never had much mass up in that area.

That being said, now that I've really begun to focus on ROM during bench/incline and now that my body fat is dropping, I've noticed that I have a good amount of muscle in my upper chest, especially near where my clavicles meet on both sides.

Is it safe to assume that if there's muscle there now that I'll be able to add even more mass to that area?

if you keep doing what you're doing now, you will only see gains.

I've tried doing pin pulls before, but I don't think I'm doing them right because I feel it more in my shoulders than I do in my chest. Once I find someone at my gym who actually does them, I'm going to ask them to show me how to do them properly.

you don't have gyno unless there's a hard lump behind your nipple

I saw my doctor about it when I was younger and he's the one that confirmed it.

There's definitely fat on my chest, but I've lost 21lb so far on my cut and I still have manboobs...just not as bad. My chest's appearance has not changed as much much because I have puffy nips, a little bit of breast tissue, and the hard bumps :hs:

Anyway, is it safe to assume that if there's a little bit of muscle in my upper/inner chest that I can continue to build it up?

    funny story.
i have lumps under my nipples from taking m1t back in the day.:ugh: i even ordered nolvadex but then i got put in jail and couldn't do any sort of pct. i got lumps under my nipples so i told the doctor i had cancer and they handcuffed wheelchaired me through the breast cancer center at UCSD. all the while in my county blue's, winking at hot UCSD girls who were staring at me like i was some sort of crazed animal. anyway, they gave me a mammogram, and yeah gyno. lame. very slight though, just small lumps but everyday i feel like cutting them out with scissors.

i dont understand how pin pulls do a better job at building chest than presses or flys. i mean isnt it just holding the fucking weight?

The pin pull puts tremendous strain on the pec. Don’t believe me? Grab a training partner’s pec (make sure you get consent first) while they do them or perform a few reps while looking in a mirror. You won’t believe the contraction. If you have ever torn your pec, you know how much it hurts to pull. This alone shows how much pec is involved with the pin pull. And don’t forget that you can handle much more weight on the pin pull then the bench press. Bigger weights = Bigger muscles.
