My dad had a 68 (or 69) up until 2000. He sold it to a collector in Adams Friendship for just over 100k.

the one i watched dyno last year was 100% stock and was putting about 485 to the wheels :o

part of a collection up in Seattle, guy trailiered it down for a few of us f-body idiots who begged and pleaded ...

less than 2500 miles on it and he was more than happy to put it on the dyno for 3 runs for us :big grin:

this is not the debate at hand. the debate is that camaro no matter what form should NOT bare the name supercar, and its value far exceeds its worth

    for something entirely stock?

    426 hemi = 500+ hp
    427 L88 = 500+ hp
    454 LS7 = 500+ hp
    427 ZL1 = 500+ hp

the killer factor out of the four of those engines...
only one of them had an aluminum block and aluminum head combination...
thats a good 400 or 500 pounds less weight.
    that would be the ZL1

how many fucking bigblock cars with 500+ hp are going to weigh LESS than an equally optioned 300hp 350 small block car?

    :o

For a car that was made in the 60's that can still run with the fastest stock cars of today...

indeed. i would like to meet the retard that labeled it as a supercar and punch his sack into his throat. no matter how much hp/tq it makes, it still handles like a camaro if not WORSE and has no features that the regular supercar name bares.

1.it is not exotic. camaros are everywhere (granted not the yenko but whats the dif)
2.it does not handle well, like the other supercars that earn said name.
