    plug it in jackass.

Has nothing to do with the PS3 and everything to do with wireless bandwidth and signal.

because you want to sacrifice the convenience of not having a 50ft cat5 cable in your house for Lag and dial up down speeds?

My fat PS3 always had problems connecting to my router... but when it did connect, it worked fine. Still, you should wire it, it's always more reliable than wireless.

My PS3 sucked ass at connecting to my wireless network. Then when I got my new laptop my laptop wouldn't connect to my wireless network at all. So I got a new router because the one I had was like 5 years old and everything works perfectly now. Don't blame the PS3 cause it has nothing to do with your wi-fi sucking, blame your network or yourself.

What part of "I already have an ethernet cable but prefer to take advantage of an existing feature don't you understand, moron" :ugh:

Oh and all I had to do was DMZ the PS3 and now it works fine.

so what you're saying is you're dumb, and admit that openly and publicly? furthermore you retract your previous comments about PS3 slim's wireless abilities.

I set up port forwarding and a static IP, manually set up the PS3 to the network and now I never have problems.

Because you were dumb enough to make a thread on an internets forum attempting to bash a console you've bought multiple times when you could have used that time to fix the problem even sooner.
