Pics from Sunday, I detailed a friend's ML500 using the old Meguiar's Swirl Remover 2.0 and topped it with S100 wax.

While detailing, this spider landed on the hood so I snapped a few macro pics. It was tiny!

The below Dakar M3/4 was beating everyone on the course by a wide margin, however it was being driven by the Boston BMWCCA Autocross co-chair who could just as easily have hopped into my car and beat the field. His M3 has a $10,000, fully adjustable TC Kline suspension setup, so it could keep its speed up through the hard turns a lot better than the Porsche - The 996 was clearly the faster car, it would raise up and take off when the driver would go WOT, but this did not translate into faster times.

Of course had it been on a real road course, that 996 would have been tough to beat.
