    Yup, he'd been lifting for ages but never been lean. Just had the equivalent of "large man" syndrome where he though dropping to below 200lbs would automatically make him skinny. He does have a respectable amount of muscle IMO but it's amazing how he actually looks BIGGER now simply by losing that gut and love handles.

    Although IMO he dropped his weight too much. He looked solid at 180-ish but now he's about 165 and I don't think he needed to lose those last 15lbs

    Yup - IMO scale weight is meaningless unless you're having to compete in a weight class. If the tape measure and mirror are favourable, that's all I care about.

    Some guys can look big at 170, some guys with way more LBM just look fat at 230 :dunno:

    You look LOADS better now, even though you've lost a ton of "weight"

    its all about leaving your ego at the door and doing what your body is genetically built for. Some guys are meant to be lean at 300, some 180. The both will look awesome if they use there strengths and not trying to force something there not.

    Gazpacho Recipe

    Ingredients

    6 ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 purple onion, finely chopped
    1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped
    1 sweet red bell pepper (or green) seeded and chopped
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1-2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
    2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    1/4 cup olive oil
    2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
    2 teaspoons sugar
    Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
    6 or more drops of Tabasco sauce to taste
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (omit for vegetarian option)
    4 cups tomato juice

    Method

    Combine all ingredients. Blend slightly, to desired consistency. Place in non-metal, non-reactive storage container, cover tightly and refrigerate overnight, allowing flavors to blend.
    Serves 8.

    Is that true for someone who is 6'4"?


    I've been like 205lbs for a year and I'm probably 15% right now, which means I lost some fat and gained some muscle despite staying at about the same weight (a year ago I must have been 18% or more.. my waist is a couple inches smaller now) there was a little gain and loss at one point)... I'm starting to eat more because I figure I'll bulk up to 225 or something over 6 months then cut back down to 205 and hopefully be real lean... do you think I should just cut from here and bulk really slowly while maintaining leanness instead?

    I'm going more for strength but as GTLifter said that doesn't necessarily become sacrificed with fat loss. At a glance, what would you reccomend I do in my current situation?

    I'd cut the bf to about 10% and go from there.
