http://keyetv.com/topstories/local_story_242150911.html San Marcos Police Shoot, Kill Suspect Gregg Watson Reporting (CBS 42) SAN MARCOS A San Marcos officer fired his weapon, killing a teen while responding to a domestic disturbance. Police were called to 1000 Gravel Street shortly before 11 a.m. Monday. There they saw Christopher Jonathan Gonzales, 19, stabbing his mother in the neck with a fork. The officer, sometime during this incident, fired his weapon, hitting the male. Police say they shot Gonzales because they believed his actions to be life threatening. Gonzales was transported to the Central Texas Medical Center where he later died. The woman was also transported to the Central Texas Medical Center. She was treated and released. Neighbors say the family was always fighting. This was not Gonzales' first brush with San Marcos police. In 2005 he was arrested for assault. Earlier this year, he was arrested for theft and evading arrest. The officer who fired the fatal shots is 13-year veteran Tracy Frans. He is on administrative leave with pay. I say he deserved to be shot, what kind of sick bastard would fork his own mother.
