Started and finished the first part today in a 2 hour sitting. The artist had never done a tat like this so we both had fun with it. It was my first tat. I've had the idea in my head since around 2002 and finally had the time and money to start it today. I originally wanted it on my side but they decided since it was my first one, my upper thigh would be better. Here is the link to all the photos I have of it. Some are from the shop and some are from when I got home. http:[email protected]/?saved=1

What are the plans with this tattoo? Will this be an actual sleeve with lots of saturation or will it be sparse? Did you both go in with a strategy?

$400 for two hours. It seemed a bit much for me but after checking around, I decided to go with it. It will be an actual sleeve. I am guessing I got ripped?

kind of a trippy image, i like it, do you have the original artwork for it or where did the design come from?

If the artist charges by the hour, $200 per hour is pretty high. That is what some of the top artist in the entire world charge.

Google Ralph Steadman and you will see it on the first or second page for his images. He didn't charge $200/hr, he thought it would take a lot longer than it did and he just said $400 for the whole piece. I love it so I can't really complain.
