    If you have not seen/played the following, DO NOT read this post, it contains major spoilers: Xenogears, Trigun, Scrapped Princess, Last Exile














    All the above share the same basic storyline, in the far future humans become highly advanced and reach out to other star systems in our local galaxy and perhaps even farther other galaxies.

    Basically colonization of the star systems begin, however due to differ circumstances, their origins are forgotten and people live with no knowledge of the real past.

    I like sci fi animes but it seems that even non sci fi animes are becoming sci fi animes. Like scrapped princess, at first you would think this is just a typical middle age magic theme anime but you soon discover everything is a lie.

    it seems anime makers have been watching too much matrix style movies, like dark city.

    Just a thought, discuss :)

    only trend i've seen is from celulouse to digital.

    everyone remakes the same stories over and over again. look at hollywood.

    i believe he's refering to the anime CG scenes that are on the game disks....

    i'm guessing the artist is depicting that we tend to always forget our pasts and that we need to find our origins in order to fully understand how things came to be.
