Is Henderson's wild striking style...I think A. Silva is probably 10 times the striker Misaki is, too

I wanted to find their second fight to post for this thread but I couldn't find it

I was thinking about this last night during the countdown. Every clip they showed of Henderson striking was wild and brutal. I think Silva will give Hendo alot of problems while standing. I also think he is precise and strong enough to give Hendo a knockout.

I think Hendo, throws like 3 punches, anderson covers up defensively, and Hendo clinches up. Then its a matter of who is better in the clinch. Silva's MT or Hendo's Greco. Two different clinches meeting up will be interesting.

I think its a toss up.

Has anyone taken into consideration that Hendo has faced several hard hitters before in Pride and stood the test. The man has a strong chin.

Silva is just has to put alot up against that chin. I know Silva for quick moves, fast striking and precision knee strikes so it will be a good fight.

If it goes the distance I think Silva comes out on top. If it ends before that, Hendo all the way.

I have no idea who is gonna win. :run:

I don't think either guy has the ability to knock the other one out. I think hendo might get some kind of submission in the first 3 rounds or control the match with his wrestling and get a decision.

Silva has more ways to win this fight imo. He has KO ability with his hands, feet, knees, and elbows, a great submission game, and is more elusive which would lead to a decision going in his favour.

I see Henderson winning by his big right or decision only.

Goddamn I'm pumped for this fight. Hopefully it goes longer than 0:43 seconds.

im beyond pumped for this fight

i think anderson silva has the most effective mma skill set of all the fighters in the game.

but how do you bet against henderson and his godly chin.

this is going to be a 5 round war imho. i wouldnt be surprised if anderson got a split-decision victory.

    :ugh:
i wouldnt call his chin godly.

i think hendo's block of a head can handle more abuse than sliva's, but silva just works those striking angles and distances to perfection so that he avoids getting hit on the KO button.

silva is going to win the striking war and if hendo gets a couple "wake up" shots to his dome then hes going to clinch and take anderson down. only once has it ended badly for him against someone skilled in bjj like anderson, and that was against lil nog. :noes:

im pulling for silva to win in stunning fashion.

This will be a real test of how good Silva's chin is because we really don't know how solid it is. Doesn't help that Henderson has one hitter quitter power like he did to Chonan's rated chin either.

Who's putting money down on this fight? I'm putting down at least $1K on Hendo alone.

Silva has a great chin. He let people hit him just to show that they can't hurt him.

I really want to see henderson walk away with this, but I think it's going to be a hell of a fight for both of them.

I think if Hendo falls back on his wrestling, then he stands a very good chance of winning. Despite having big time power, I think Hendo is going to get smoked if he tries to "stand and bang" with Anderson...

Hendo says he has a better clinch and isnt scared to stay standing with Silva. Yeah, I dont see anything that could go wrong here.
