The e2 barrely hit US a few months ago. We won't see a real one for a while. Not to mention that its more like a new SLVR following the stylings, and the E2 didn't even have iTunes so why the hell would they bring it back?

I can't see why that'd be true at all. They droped it with the E2, and I think apples got a phone coming out soon.

Hah, I should have gussed they would have an iPhone skin/theme already.

How much did you pay, and does it support the 850 band or did you mod it to do so? I've been told you can mod it to become quad-band (unlocking the 850 band).

And how do you like it?

How hard is it to mod it to a quad-band phone with edge? Like, can I do it for free, or do I have to pay for some ghey software, or send it somewhere?

What computer are you using it with, and what do you use to transfer music etc. It seemed like unless you're using an iTunes phone, they suck with Macs. Do you know if this is true or not?

Thanks a ton for answer my questions :big grin:.

Where did you buy it, and how much for? Whats a general price I should expect? I just bought a w850i, havn't even gotten it yet but I don't think sliders are for me. I'm looking into another phone ahead of time.

Plemix has it for $295 plus shipping with a 1 GB card, pretty good deal, and they're a good site.

How is the touch screen? Pretty responsive? And, is the OS closer to a PDA style OS, or is it more like the generic Moto OS. And is it fairly fast? I know the Slvrs and Razrs are pretty damn slow.

I bought a w850i a while ago, I think I got it around the time of my last post.

I had someone offer to trade straight up and turned it down, I wasn't sure if I wanted something without any number buttons on it, and I was and still am in love with my w850i. I'm going to check out the real thing (iPhone) and if I don't like it I might consider the E6 again.

Thanks for all of your help though :big grin:

I bought the E6 about 4 months ago. It's been out for a while. Got a hacked version on ebay.

Also do the numbers just pop up on the screen? And do you have to use the stylus to punch in the numbers?

It has a number key pad that pops up like regular button size. the only thing i don't like is the letter keyboard is tiny. you have to use the stylus to text. the reception is really good. I get reception where Samsung and Nokias don't.

Just bought one.:noes: This will be my first smart phone hopefully I like it, Ive always been a flip phone kind of guy. I don't know if I will like the keyboard though. My buddy has a phone which the keyboard slides open and it took me forever to send a text.
