why would you want all the inconveniences of a laptop keyboard with a whole desk to fill with a normal sized one?

    What inconvenience? :dunno:

Was playing with the new iMacs the other day...........

Thought I would hate the glossy screen.....not as bad as I had thought.
Keyboard was MUCH better then I thought it would be.

Was REAL hard walking out the store without a new iMac.

Every once in a while I need to enter data from a printout, and with the 10-key I don't have to take my eyes off the paper. It's about 5 times as fast as using the number row above the keyboard. I need one of those USB thingies to use with my MBP.

What's the deal with the new expose keys? Is F3 just the same as the old F9, and we've lost access to the old f10/11? I'll admit i normally use the all app ones, but if i've got a ton of images open in photoshop then *nothing* beats being able to zoom out and get a quick look at all of them quickly.

I'll echo the feelings on the wireless keyboard, too. I use the numberpad a lot when doing quick spreadsheets and calculations, sure, i could use the top ones, but then i've got to look.. right now i can use the numberpad blind, it's extra time. I can see the point in the new one, but i'd have loved it if they'd made two bluetooth versions.
