...and I'm not convinced by it.

Granted Audi was always going to struggle to meet the sheer impact the original had, but this just seems to have tried to hard to incorporate current Audi design cues. Wheras the original TT didn't take much from existing models, it was more a stand-alone vehicle.

Plus even the interior doesn't seem as special, but more generic. Though the chrome heater rings are rather neat.

The back looks like a Porsche.

    What's the MSRP gonna be?

IMHO, it has improved since it looks like less of a bitch car than the previous one, in other words it looks meaner. Still, after owning an Audi myself I will never buy one again (1 yr+ quality/reliability sucks).

IIRC, the 3.2L will be priced the same, and the 2.0T will be $500 more than the old 1.8T.

    And I'd rock one. :coold:

I like it all except for the rear. Everything else is great, especially the interior.

yeah. the previous one was too much a girl car. Although the old one was more unique. This one takes styling cues reminiscent of other cars. Which is still ok with me as the look is improved, less feminine, more rakish.

    When's the new one available?
