Went to two walmarts, a gun store and cabela's this morning to look for ammo. Everyone was as friendly as they normally are. Sometimes, people will do a double-take but then it's all good.

I just am convinced people don't even pay attention- they are so in their own world they just don't notice

and that is why they all end up victims

I'm really starting to see how stupid it is to NOT carry... if you're not a criminal that is. Concealed or otherwise.... it's like not wearing a seat belt.

I'm kinda for it. Just seems like a bold move, and I'm a subtle guy.

I think about it like I'm carrying a leatherman or any tool... and I think people can sense, that to me, it's not a big deal. So they're more at ease.

Open carry is not for me, but I'm glad it's working for you. :)

I found the novelty wore off after about a week of having a weapon on my hip.

Now it feels, as was previously stated, that it's just like a leatherman. Though I do landmark it regularly.

All the places I go have this rule:
If it is your carry piece, keep it in the holster.
If it is there for work or for holsters, unloaded.
If you are going to the range, only load/ handle weapons when on the line.
