The more I realize the Glock 19 is the best pistol ever made
I would concur.
Fixed it for you. But seriously, all Glocks are great.
The more handguns I fondle and shoot...the more I realize rifles are way more fun
This is even more true.
I wouldn't say more fun, just a different kind of fun.
No ammo FTL
It's the handgun that works best for me.
i my p226
non-DAK sig p226r
its FTW bro
I'd love to ... err, love Glocks, but I can't get used to the grip angle: what can I do??
Just keep shooting. When I started pistol shooting and training I had a hard time pointing Glocks. After a year or so I realized I could switch to them easily without any thought.
The funniest thing is I can easily be an operator with an H&K... but Glocks and their shitty triggers always make me do shotgun patterns.
I'm a Glock whore but I shot a USPSA buddies 9mm M&P Pro w/tuned trigger and liked it pretty well. I didn't put enough rounds through it to have a comprehensive opinion, but it shot well and seemed to have a very flat recoil cycle considering I didn't have much time to "tune" my grip to it. He has started having some extraction issues with it recently though.
Sounds like you need to focus on the fundamentals. Speaking of "operator" A true operator should be able to fight equally well with any firearm they may pick up. Who says you will end up fighting with your gun?
I'm in Canada
Don't like mine that much, it's a decent gun but not great
I like Glocks for what they do and don't mind shooting them, but I much prefer the feel on my Sig 226.
Why? The initial DA shot acts as a safety. The trigger pull isn't bad, but you have to know you want to pull it for it to fire. After that, the uber-light SA is pure sex.
I've never shot a 9mm Glock, but I miss my G21 like crazy.
see - that's what makes me torn. I wanna trade my g17 in for an xd but then, I almost want to get a grip job done. Which by the way - sounds so dirty.
I love my G19 awaiting my CCW
i prefer my 229, over any glock i've fondled.
