Fighters like Wanderlei and Tito are soon to be replaced by fighters like Shogun and Rashad. :eek3:

By the way, I should probably elaborate more before people get in a fuss about this.

First, Wanderlei. He's still a good fighter but doesn't appear to have the same intensity that he used to have. His wild style has also become somewhat predictable, making it easier for opponents to pick him apart. He's also still a good guy, even though he was sick for Pride 33...he didn't even bring it up until interviewers asked him, and even still he said it didn't affect his performance. Now that's something you don't see often. At this stage in the game, Shogun is going to take his place.

Second, Tito. People will laugh at the idea of Rashad beating Tito but you have break it down. Tito hasn't beaten a really good opponent in a long time. When he was winning fights, it was because of his size and dominant wrestling. Well, as MMA becomes more popular it attracts more people...especially wrestlers and other athletes. Rashad is probably a better wrestler than Tito, or at least comparable. Rashad seems more hungry for wins and Tito seems like he just wants to be a star now.

I'm ready to see Tito go away. I never liked him. Rashad would be a good one to take his spot as a top light-heavy weight.

Right now Tito is bitching out of fights with late 30s ex-boxercise intsructors while Rashad Evans is practicing hitting a tree with his shin in the high mountains in New Mexico
