umm I'm clueless to what you are talking about.
I've seen alot of bootleg TMV shows on dvd and I don't see people throwing shit at them.

Try seeing them live in a real concert, not where they are opening for RHCP.

I've seen them twice, once at a small club pre-Frances the Mute, and once at a Bowl after FTM. Both times, the crowd went wild for them and showed nothing but respect.

    What's wrong with long songs?

I'll have to see them live. Their studio albums are horrible.

Why would you want to pay money($30+) to see a band when you don't even like them?

I've seen them twice. They're good when they're playing music, but the aimless shit gets old in a hurry.

I haven't even heard the new album, but judging from Frances The Mute, I probably won't like it. I haven't been stoked on this band or their performances since the EP and first album came out.

    IMO
Deloused in Comatorium > Amputechture > Frances The Mute

I absolutely love the new album. Very well produced. I listen to it all the way through.

Frances The Mute - I have to fast forward through some of the long abstract sounds that annoy me.

but I know most of you would probably put it this way
Deloused in Comatorium > Frances The Mute > Amputechture

Same here. I never gave them a try because I have no interest in punk. A couple years after they broke up a friend gave me a couple albums and I've been hooked ever since.

Have any of you checked out the De Facto albums? Not sure if the band is still around but some guys from TMV and ATDI were in De Facto a few years ago and some of it is really rad stuff.
