As I progressively cut down further and further, I've noticed I haven't been able to achieve one of those pumps "you feel"... Does cutting have anything to do with it? I've been taking in at least ~120g carbs on workout days and haven't been able to get one of these pumps for at least the past two to three weeks in ANY of my workouts. used to get them all the time pre-cut and at the beginning of my cut :dunno:

I think the lower carb intake is a definite factor.

Less carbs = Less pump for me.

If you are dieting to super lean levels, you WILL look flat.

Try adding some glycerol post workout. Some say it helps to keep the muslce feel "full" on limited carbs.

    Experiment with it.

120g of carbs and 40g of fat?? what's your protein intake? That looks pretty low calorie wise....

    M - refeed.. train today
    T - normal.. train today
    W - off day
    Th - normal.. train today
    F - refeed.. train today
    S - off
    S - off

    refeed day = 250g protein, 320g carbs, 30g fat
    normal day = 250g protein, 130g carbs, 40g fat
    off day = 250g protein, 30g carbs, 60g fat

been losing tons of fat and have been adjusting my diet, tapering it down slowly. been using these specific numbers for about a month now and haven't needed to adjust it or up cardio because I'm still slowly (but surely) losing weight (may be because of the EC stack?). have noticed that intensity has been dropping in all of my workouts for the past 2-3 weeks though

I don't have much experience with carb cycling (refeeds etc) and still experimenting with it myself. If you're still losing fat, I would stick with what you're doing. While getting the pump feels great and probably does have its benefits, for years because of the low carb intake (under 100g constantly with no refeeds at that) I never got that great a pump.

fuck. i have no idea what to do then.. I have extremely low energy levels too.. getting adequate rest (8-10hrs of sleep) and nutrition is on point (or feels like it at least)... tried stims and I am extremely tolerant.. never had any experience with them.. tried cycling them and everything. never feel shit. can take 400mg caffeine and go to sleep 30min later.

it's not even that pushing myself is hard, it's just that I lose concentration and am tired as fuck when I'm in the gym.. even after only one warmup set. no clue what's going on..

If that's the case...maybe up your calories abit. Or keep the calorie intake the same but lower protein and up your carbs. Is this the first time you're doing low carb cycling. I recall reading some just don't function well on that.

perhaps experiment with some pre workout carbs?

so days you are very low carb, have them before and after training.

    What he said..

You never posted calorie intake info? Or do I just not see it?

Keep those limited carbs around your workout.. and I would keep your fats to at least 50-60g, but try to up a little if you can.

on refeed days I eat a banana 30-45min before training... all carbs are limited to morning, pre-workout, and a majority of it is eaten PWO.

I posted some of my diet info.

it's around 1900 cals on the "normal" days. ~2600 cals on refeed days and ~1650 on off days.

That honestly sounds like you are on the right track. As said, with limited carbs, you're going to be flat. Are you finding you dont look/feel pumped even on refeed days?
