Rented it the other night, and I liked it overall.

Great concept, but muddled execution, it could have been done a lot better.

It's a fun film really, it wasn't terrible in any respect.

The plot was pretty fruity, and it never really explained how they managed to convince all the different characters to save the world together.

being a literati, it was nice to see so many characters from great literature make it to the big screen.. thats what I liked.. I did get annoyed having to answer questions about what novel Moriarty came from though..

I heard Sean Connery and the Director got a fight about how it was directed. Connery didn't like how it came out at all.

    Good movie, I liked it.

I thought it was great, few discrepancies with the actual LXG comics and storyline, and the plot dragged very slowly at certain points, but overall OK movie.

i liked it as an action movie with a good concept, but as said above, Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neil's graphic novel which it was based off was much better.

I thought that the movie sucked big cock... You never really got to know the characters and I just thought that over all it was a giant cheesefest

  22. It was an entertaining film. Nothing spectacular. It is what it is. Not exactly a movie where you have to think about it, but its definitly entertaining.

    super lame !

They got everything wrong in it. No roads in Venice, no graves, the town is not built on stilts. No cars like that at the time period, the design of the sub was WAY OFF, No guided rockets back then, You could go on all day about the how bad this movie SUCKED

Considering the time it was set in and the fact that they also occupied a giant submarine, I think it's safe to say that the fantasy concept flew right over your head.
