    :hs:

Just finished the last TPB of the series last night. Last 2 issues were :wtc:. If anyone has read it, all I have to say is Ampersand and grape to know which scene in particular I am talking about.

Incredible series though. Character development and story was . Now its on the 1st TBP of The Walking Dead.

I loved it. My buddy calls it a lesbo comic. tWD is the shit, it got me back into comics. I just started collecting the trades; so awesome re-reading all that stuff.

Why, because the comic is mostly made up of female characters? Or the fact that things don't blow up on every other panel? Its a character driven comic, that is for sure though.

Mostly because its about if women ruled the world, or something like that. Don't get me wrong, I really loved the series. I think i read it in like 2 sittings or something.

Better than being dragged out until they're canceled. It was as long as it needed to be.

I almost boo-hoo'd at the ending. Sad as shit. One of the best series I've read. Old School vertigo > * (ok well it's not exactly oldschool vertigo but I haven't read a vertigo title since so...)

Shit! yeah ok I need to read fables. I just hate picking up on a series so late and having to backtrack to get all the issues/trades. I always manage to overlook it and I don't know why.

    such a well written series

a bit heavy on the culture references; felt a bit like family guy at times for that. But i did enjoy them... especially all the Bowie references

this'll be a problem with The Walking Dead, i think. the guy doesn't want it to ever stop.

    i think that's a bad plan.

Nah, i think he has a plan in mind. Hence all the killings of you-know-which-ones-i'm-talking-about. The survival now hangs on getting to Washington. Whether or not they find out, the latter being the most likely outcome, and then survive is another question.

hopefully, but that's not exactly the impression i got when, back in volume 1, he kicked it off with that intro where he said "The Walking Dead will be the zombie movie that never ends. well... not for a good long time at least."

i also thought it was hilarious that, in that intro to volume 1, he sang the praises for the artist, and then volume 2 had a different artist. lolz
