The CGI was better than I thought. But it was a little too artsy. Ang Lee got a little to modern on this movie and got some people walking out saying, "huh?"

But some thing just didn't make sense. Was the fight with his father in any relation to the comic book? Did he go by another name?

They played the movie out for over an hour and was pissing me off. I was thinking half way through the movie, "when are we going to see some action?" Then eventually 1/2 through the movie the dog scene came in then more bore then about 40 minutes of straight out action.

All in all, it was better than Daredevil but not even close in comparison with X-men 1 and 2.

Ang Lee is a good director, mind you, but not for this type of movie.

Edit: His father's name was absorbing man. Plus I got some free comic books from a local comic book store. :bigthumb:

Yeah by people who never saw it.

I love it when people talk trash about a movie but never see it to begin with.

Can they really maneuver like that or was it movie magic? I'm talking about when it transitioned from flying forward to strafing without slowing down at all.

I would think that they cannot maneuver quite as fast as when the one copter spins away from the missile that Hulk throws at it.

A little to artsy with the dreams and multi frame shots. Still the action made it worth the $5.50.

I personally didnt like the movie, and also the people I was with did not like the movie. It took to long for some action parts. The flash backs weren't that great. And I still dont understand what was up with the split screen stuff. I should have waited for it to have come on to TV not worth 6.50
