is very interested in a bill to support carry on tennessee college campuses. he proposed the, very close to being approved, bill that will allow Tennessee cititzens to carry on/in property/buildings owned by city, state, and national gov'ts before the VT shootings and he said the shootings have made him see that this is needed

Our Texas Governor Rick Perry is talking the same way. Pretty much what he boiled down to was, if you're licensed you can/should carry anywhere.

I think Rick Perry is a huge fucking tool bag, but cant argue on this one. We'll see what happens.

well you still wont be able to carry in establishments that get 51% or more of their revenue from alchol sales or companies that have sign prohibiting firearms.

I heard about Perry's proposal the other day. I think it is a good idea. I see no reason why CHL holders should be limited to where they can carry. They go through your past with a fine-toothed comb when you get a CHL in Texas, there is a lot to be said for that.
