    I was buying some Spike Shooter energy drinks and he goes "why don't you try this, too? It's cheaper and gives you energy."

    I dunno. It said some crap about appetite suppression and stuff and that's not what I want.

    Actually those are different from what was on the label I read in the store, but same basic thing I guess. Vitamin B plus some ECA type stuff :dunno:

    guggulsterones are a thyroid stimulating chem and yohimbine is used for fat loss IIRC

    B12 isn't very bioavailable from oral supplements so you have to megadose so close the DV is absorbed

    water soluble vitamins cannot be stored by the body, they get excreted in the urine. Thus the toxic waste yellow piss you get after taking certain vitamins.

    this might be true, i havn't read anything about absorption rates from supplements vs. food

    Vitamin B12 is efficiently conserved in the body, since most of it is secreted into bile and reabsorbed.

    still... if you have normal body function and are not elderly then your body should produce enough intrinsic factor to absorb all the b12 you need from normal diet, so i still don't see the justification in such high amounts.

    i suppose everyone is entitled to their own opinions, i just have never been one to buy into the mega dosing vitamins trend. I base my opinion on what was part of the curricula of human anatomy, physiology, and nutrition classes, granted these were not sports medicine based.
