nothing too exciting.... The mold wasn't long enough to catch the bullet, but you get a good view of the wound tract, and it's about as long as I am deep in the stomach area.

Here it is, chilling in the fridge:

Here it is right after after being shot with 135g Federal Hydrashock 9mm:

Here's the block disected, note the jacket fragment, not a good sign for retaining mass:

Here's the entry wound, with the jacket fragment just about an inch past the entry point:

Here's the wound tract. It's hard to tell in the picture, but after expansion, the bullet cause 4 tears in the gel as it passed through, I'm assuming one for each "lobe" that expanded. Each extended about 2 inches out to create a 4 inch "wound":

And here's the disected block held up to light so you can see the bullets path and the damage, it continued to spiral as it expanded:

And last but not least, here's the uneventful video, the shot is taken by Greg Garrett of CompTac holsters. You can see the whole block expand as the bullet passes through it. I'm going to be making a custom mold so hopefully the next bullet will be recovered:

Incidently: This batch calibrated almost exactly to the 250A ballistic ordinance gel, Just under 3.25" inch penetration w/ a .177 steel BB shot at 170FPS... (250A is supposed to be 3.25-3.5" penetration with this test)

    Feedback? :wiggle:

Oh, and as a bonus, here's a 10 shot group at 7 yards:

    It's a 1" group :eek3::coold:

I have no idea, the next one is going to be 16" long and we'll see if that stops it. The fact that the hollowpoint penetrated more than I am thick surprised alot of people.

Pretty cool. Makes me want to try it now but I'm not sure what I'd put it in as a mold.

No I'm saying it's not a place for trolls. Look at his other posts in this forum, and it is clear. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.
