    The flash used at last nights NBA game was really cool

    remote sensor on the camera controlled the flash bulbs set up throughout the arena. i never knew anyone used things like that.

    pocket wazards ftw


    st-e2 can do it also, if it has a IR port

    i used a 550's IR to trigger the strobes at UCSB

    pocket wizards would have been much better, but thats all i had.

    optical triggers seem to have more delay than a hardwire or radio trigger.. also they can be a lot less reliable, plus point and shoot flashes from people can trigger your strobes

    well ya, thats why I would have prefered pocket wizards, but didn't have any.
