    give me some time :o

at least at my level i'm seeing improved muscles in all parts just from doing compounds :dunno: of course it's easier since i'm a noob but i'm hoping it continues :x:

I also dislike curls because they hurt the backs of my forearms :dunno:

my biceps were getting their biggest back when i had no arm day. all i was doing that could have been hitting them were deadlifts, pullups, tbar rows, cable rows, pulldowns, and these weird hang clean/standing military press things. those were more like a cheating-reverse curl-to-military press so that could have helped the bi's some.

my "arm day" is friday when i add 3 sets of barbell curls. that's about it.

though my arms arent gigantic and having no arm day is probably why.

curls are the only thig the work my bi's. Back movements do nothing for them.

    :hsugh:

Other than the obvious aesthetic gains, having an arm day helps out in lifts like the benchpress, pullups, rows, military press etc. I don't understand why you would let a certain body part fall behind just because it's considered lame on an internet message board. Especially when the newbie gains end, arms will start to require direct arm work if you want em to grow... of course there are exceptions with some people though.

it depends on your goals. if you're looking for biceps size, or you're a strongman or wrestler, then you should probably include a decent volume of curls. but most other people don't need to do them much IMO. :dunno:

if your biceps were bigger than your triceps, you'd have problems

i have nothing against a tricep day :dunno: I just don't like doing curls

i think bicep tears while deading etc. have more to do with poor form / mistakes than weak biceps.
