If i'm doing deads or shrugs, I can feel my grip slowly going, I usually keep pushing through until I finish. I must have pushed it a little harder than usual today because after I droped the weight, I was physically incapable of opening my hand. My fingers were just stuck in the hook position, with all the meat of my fingers pushed outwards so you can almost see the shape of the bone under it. The lines of the knurling is in a dark red colour while everywhere else is ghostly white. I tried to open or close my hands but nothing happend except sharp pain. Well, there was sharp pain when I don't move it, but it gets much worse when I try to move my fingers. Anyway I kept trying to move my fingers with my thumb (which is still normal) and after about 5-10 seconds, one of fingers became unhooked with the feeling of a sudden surge of lactic acid burn. The other fingers all quickly followed suit, and about 5-10 more seconds later, the hand was normal again. I don't see this posted often so I'll have to ask... does everyone experience this and just ignores it, or is this when you use straps?
